The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon UNITE will end service on March 23, 2027, at 00:00 UTC on both Nintendo Switch and mobile — nearly six years after it launched on Switch in July 2021.

What's already changed

Sales of Aeos gems stopped on October 27, 2026. Gems you already own can be used until the end. New UNITE Club memberships and automatic renewals have also been suspended, though current members keep their benefits until their membership runs out.

Before the lights go out

A special event starts on November 12, letting players obtain items such as Unite licenses and Holowear that have appeared in the game. The same day, a Library feature arrives: if you download the library data before shutdown, you'll still be able to look back at certain records and content afterwards.

The competitive scene isn't over yet either — the Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo tournament goes ahead, with qualifiers starting on December 5.
