FromSoftware delays Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods to 2027
The multiplayer action game needs more time for 'final adjustments to game rules and balancing'.
FromSoftware announced on October 29 that The Duskbloods, its multiplayer action game exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, will no longer launch in 2026. The new window is 2027, with no specific date yet.
Why the delay
The studio said the game is in its final adjustment stage and cited "final adjustments to game rules and balancing". The extra time will go into improving the core ideas players responded to during the network test. FromSoftware apologised to fans who have been waiting.
About the game
The Duskbloods was revealed during the Switch 2 reveal Direct and supports up to eight players online. Its August network test suffered from server problems, though later tests went more smoothly.
