Naughty Dog is reportedly working on a new Uncharted
Multiple insiders say The Lost Legacy director Shaun Escayg is leading a brand-new Uncharted — and Nathan Drake will appear in some form.
A new Uncharted is reportedly in development at Naughty Dog. The report, first published by MP1st, has since been echoed by several well-known insiders.
What the report claims
The project is said to be directed by Shaun Escayg, who led Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. It is described as a completely new game rather than a remake, and Nathan Drake is expected to appear in some form, though his role is unclear.
According to the same reporting, it would follow Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and The Last of Us Part III, which points to a release window around 2029–2030.
