Steam Autumn Sale 2026: great games for $15 or less
Valve's autumn event runs until October 8. Here's how long it lasts and where to start looking for bargains.
The Steam Autumn Sale 2026 started on October 1 at 10am PT and runs until October 8 — a shorter event than the summer and winter sales, so don't leave your wishlist too long.
Where to look
Kotaku's picks highlight strong deals on well-known games for $15 or less, including XCOM 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Minecraft Dungeons and Total War: Warhammer. Big recent releases featured in the sale include Civilization VII, Palworld, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
What's next
More themed sales follow through the autumn, ending with the Steam Winter Sale from December 17 to January 4, 2027.
