Deadbolt Interactive has announced its survival and psychological horror game, Pneumata, will make its way to PC, PS5 and the Xbox X/S series on September 20. Originally set for release in August, developer Deadbolt Interactive and publisher Perp Games delayed Pneumata for a few weeks so that some final tweaks could be made. This month, survival horror fans will be able to experience everything the game has to offer, which includes scavenging for weapons and supplies, examining crime scenes, and solving gruesome murders.
The horror genre is now one of the most popular and replayed game categories among players, with long-running series still going strong today. Even though some players may consider Resident Evil to be the first survival horror game, others have come before it, like Sweet Home for the Famicom, a game that Resident Evil was originally intended to be a remake of.
